Vimana gallery is pleased to announce Persistent disturbing preoccupations, David Leonid Olteanu’s exhibition taking over the entirety of gallery space, showcasing paintings most of which never displayed, but revealing a traditional dispute in the early generation of Romanian UAP dictionary, over the skills of an artist extending over his former boundaries.
The show questions not necessarily the mastery of a ceramist in painting, but the inner workings of the controversy, vanity and unresolved issues in the collegial medium of art education in Romania.
